Trip Overview
This is a classic safari to Mikumi in Southern Tanzania. The tour starts from Zanzibar and lands directly inside the park. It allows guests an encounter with the rarest of African wildernesses and takes you to the greater Selous ecosystem. Usually, this is done from a vehicle so that guests can enjoy the most authentic experience possible.

Day-to-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar – Mikumi National Park
The journey will start from the hotel where you will be picked up by our professional driver. You will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for the flight to Mikumi National Park. You’ll go on a full-day game drive and experience wonderful animals, including lions, eland, and buffalo.
In a nutshell, the Mikumi floodplain is the main feature of the park, bordering the mountain ranges. In the afternoon, you will get a hot lunch and some time to rest. You then continue with the game drive until the afternoon. At around 15h00, you will prepare for your flight back to Zanzibar.
