Day-to-Day Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Dar es Salaam
Upon arrival at the airport in Dar es Salaam, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel for the night.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park
After breakfast, embark on a game drive through Mikumi National Park, which is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras. Overnight at the Mikumi National Park campsite or lodge.
Day 3: Mikumi to Iringa
Depart Mikumi National Park after breakfast and drive to Iringa, passing through the scenic countryside.
Stop at the historical Kikosi Mawe Cultural Village for a cultural experience and lunch. Overnight at the Iringa Bungalow or similar accommodation.
Day 4: Iringa to Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, continue the journey to Ruaha National Park, stopping at the Mwagusi Safari Camp for lunch.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Ruaha National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and bird species. Overnight at the Mwagusi Safari Camp or similar accommodation.
Day 5: Ruaha National Park Game Drive
Begin the day with an early morning game drive to explore the park’s abundant wildlife and landscapes.
Return to the camp for lunch and a siesta before embarking on another game drive in the late afternoon. Overnight at the Mwagusi Safari Camp or similar accommodation.
Day 6: Ruaha National Park to Udzungwa Mountains
Depart Ruaha National Park after breakfast and drive to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
Stop for lunch en-route and arrive at the Udzungwa Falls Campsite in the afternoon.
Enjoy a guided walk through the lush Udzungwa rainforest, exploring the unique flora and fauna and visiting the stunning Udzungwa Falls. Overnight stay at the Udzungwa Falls Campsite or similar accommodation.
Day 7: Udzungwa Mountains to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, depart Udzungwa Mountains National Park and drive back to Dar es Salaam. Arrive in Dar es Salaam in the late afternoon, where you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
