Day-to-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Iringa – Ruaha National Park
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport for your short flight to Iringa, which takes about one hour. Upon arrival, your professional driver-guide will welcome you and drive you to Ruaha National Park, a scenic journey of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once in the park, you will enjoy a guided game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes while spotting a variety of wildlife with the assistance of an experienced safari guide.
Day 2: Game Drive in Ruaha National Park – Iringa
After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in Ruaha National Park with packed lunch boxes. Around midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site selected by your guide before continuing your safari adventure. The game drive will focus on wildlife-rich areas such as the Great Ruaha River, Mwagusi Sand River, and Mdonya River, where a variety of animals can often be spotted. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Iringa for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 3: Iringa to Dar es Salaam by Flight
After breakfast in the morning, your driver-guide will transfer you to Iringa Airport for your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred either to the ferry terminal for your afternoon or evening ferry to Zanzibar or to your hotel for an overnight stay, depending on your travel arrangements.
