Chumbe Island Coral Park is one of the Indian Ocean’s finest marine protected areas — a small island just 12km south of Stone Town with an extraordinary coral reef sanctuary. The island is home to one of the most pristine and biodiverse reefs in the western Indian Ocean, protected since 1994.
